Learning, Teaching, and Thriving in Writers' Workshop

"Writing must be for us first."

Donald Graves

For the past few months, I have been studying Writers' Workshop pedagogy with several schools. From our collaborations, we generated great compass questions which continue to steer our thinking and collaborations. To respond to these questions, I created resources and thought these might of help to you as you explore and deepen your workshop teaching and writing studies with students. I am adding a few of these resources and tools here to the Open Book. If you do not find answers to your questions, please let me know and we can talk. Additionally, I will post (or create) additional resources to support your work/honor your specific questions and writing journeys with your colleagues and students. .https://uploads.strikinglycdn.com/files/9d890360-20cf-48d5-8294-b71f40f1d125/PEN to PAPER Writing Workshop Pedagogy.pdf?id=48585
